The setup
A man is paid by his boss to watch the boss’s wife. It is supposed to be simple. One night by the pool it stops being simple, and from there the series is about a man who cannot leave a job he is no longer doing.
That is a noir premise, and the series knows it. The boss keeps calling. Every attempt to walk away ends with her asking him to stay. Whether the boss knew what he was arranging is the question that hangs over the whole run.
Told from the inside
The series stays with the narrator throughout, which is less common here than you would think. Most of this catalogue floats between characters; this one commits to one point of view and gets a genuine unreliability out of it. He tells you the job was simple. You can see it was not.
Lucy Parrish gets the better half of the writing. By the second episode she is setting the terms, and the series is more interested in what she wants than in what he was hired for.
What it costs
Two free, then three episodes at 12 tokens each: 36 tokens to finish. Episode 1 plays as a guest with no account at all.
How explicit it gets
Three out of five, on the evidence available. The themes are cuckold and infidelity and the series is filed accordingly.

Our verdict on Boss Paid Me to Watch His Wife
The strongest premise among the series we could only partly verify. A surveillance job that becomes the thing being surveilled is a proper noir setup, and telling it from the watcher's point of view is the right call. Two free episodes make it an easy one to try.
